Show Ten Years Ago j Now' (Taken from files of Nov. 6, 1926) Washburn Chipman. 97, pioneer of 1847, and the oldest resident of our city, passed to the Great Beyond Monday morning. Up until his last illness Mr. Chipman enjoyed remarkable re-markable health, possessed a splendid splen-did memory and was able to get about with agility unusual to one of his advanced years. Funeral services were held in the stake tabernacle Friday with Bishop Joseph H. Storrs in charge. Robinson Robin-son each this week announced his candidacy in the race for school board member from American Fork in the school district. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Euconn Smith nn the proud parents of a son born Saturday. October 30th. Ten Years Ago Now A baby boy was born Monday to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Storrs. Friends and relatives here were grieved to learn of the death in Oakley, Idaho, of Mrs. Elizabeth H. Beck, widow of Jacob S. Beck. Mrs. Beck was visiting in Idaho when Bhe succumbed to pneumonia. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Myers Marsh of Alpine Al-pine have a baby girl, born Monday. Ten Years Ago Now Utah Lake reached its lowest level this season, since records have been kept. The lake level was registered as six feet below compromise last month. |
