Show ChamberBureau to unveil winter marketing program Monday Although the 1984-85 winter season is just coming to an end, the Park City Area Chamber Bureau already has plans well underway for the 1985-86 ski season and will present its advertising program on Monday, April 29. The presentation will be held at the Yarrow Holiday Inn, Summit Room C, and will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. "This one-time presentation is extremely important for all ChamberBureau Cham-berBureau members interested in winter advertising," said Marty Melcher, marketing director for the ChamberBureau. "For the first time, the Chamber Bureau will be putting a substantial amount of money into a winter advertising program and we are very excited about the program we've come up with," she said. "We will be outlining details on how Chamber - Park City Area Chamber of C'omnerrWf onvrnlion and Visitors Bureau Bureau members can be involved in plans for the Skiing magazine advitorial, Park City's winter cooperative cooper-ative advertising program and a number of other program possibilities," possibil-ities," she added. Melcher said this will be the only opportunity for local businesses to hear the information they'll need to make decisions on program involvement involve-ment before the May 3 deadline. She pointed out the presentation on winter advertising is in addition to a separate meeting to be held tonight. (Thursday, April 25) which will outline summer marketing programs. "It is very important that Chamber Bureau members attend both meetings," she stressed. The summer meeting will be held at the Park Meadows Racquet Club Conference Con-ference Center at 5:30 p.m. In other area news, a public hearing on the 199296 Olympics bid has been scheduled for May 9. The hearing will be held at 5 p.m. at the Marsac Building and will include a slide presentation and testimony from various people involved in the feasibility study. The annual Park City Clean Up Day will be May 18 this year. Watch for more details.
