Show Park City Ski Team ends season at Snowbird The Park City Ski Team closed out its long season last weekend at Snowbird in the annual Mother Karen's Cup, which featured a mixed field of ages and skills in two days of slalom racing. While the local skiers did not. manage to win any races, "they really went all out to win and turned in some pretty impressive races," according to Jim Clifford, Park City Ski Team coach. On Saturday in the women's slalom competition, Kristi Terzian of the United States Ski Team captured first place by nearly a full season ahead of runnerup Heather Flood of Sun Valley. Park City's Tori Pillinger was third. Other Park City skiers to finish included Cammy Potter, 11th, Jill Maasberg, 20th, Ali Salomon, 21st, and Kimber Barstow, 23rd. On the men's . side, three University of Utah skiers, Rolf Bjoerne, Harald Gefle and Jeff Durtschi, copped the first places. Of the Park City entrants, Jeremy Nobis finished 16th, Bret Johnson 19th, Jim Ludlow 41st, and Rob Dunlop 48th. ,. .;' On Sunday, in the women's slalom Kristi Terzian captured her second : victory, barely edging her sister, Katrina, who had to settle for second place. Heather Flood was third. Park : . City's Stephanie Palmer, Shannon Nobis and Cammy Potter finished 11th, 15th and 17th respectively. Their teammates Bridget Leschorn, Essie Doilney and Jill Maasberg were 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Other Park City skiers who finished included Michelle Leschorn 26th, -Hilary Felton 27 th, Ali Salomon 28 th . and Kimber Barstow 30th.
