Show Park City Artists. Valline attended the Christmas show, the first to be organized by and for the Park City artists and was impressed with the quality of their work and their dedication dedica-tion to promoting the local art community. Since committing com-mitting his gallery to the Park City artists show, he has commented that the response from the community commun-ity and from his clients has PARK CITY ARTISTS The newly-formed Park City Artists Association has announced its second show to open this Thursday at Johnson Gallery on the Park City Resort Plaza. The show, featuring 14 local artists, opens with a champagne reception from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The gallery, which opened six years ago, is now owned by Robin Valline, who says the locally oriented show will be good for both organizations, organiza-tions, the gallery and the been excellent. The 14 featured artists work in a variety of mediums including paintings by Diane Balaban, Doti Reynolds and Trisha Arentz, sculpture by Judy Summer, batik by Holly Rom, leather branding by Valeria Yost and photographs photo-graphs by John Tinklepaugh. Other artists include Ginger' Cherry, Marilyn Caravaglia, Bill Kranstover, Gail Price, Sally Rosenblat, Abbie Whitney Whit-ney and Nan Chalat. This special exhibit of work by local artists will continue through Jan. 31 at the Johnson Gallery, which is open from noon to 6 p.m. daily. |
