July '---The list of bank failures in Germany through excessive speculation operations opera-tions has received a striking addition n the insolvency of the Xiederdeutschc bank, against which bankruptcy proceedings pro-ceedings were begun today. This action was preceded by the arresi of Heir Ohm, one of the directors direc-tors and the chief manager of the bank, who came lo grief through his attempts tj found numeroiiH Industrial companies, which were inadequately capitalized.
