Before reaching the place, however, three fellows who looked suspicious, and who were coming Into tho city from the direction of tho farm, were arrested and taken to Jail. The men gave tholr names as A. Wilson, Frank Harrison and Georco Dana, all asserting innocence. Wilson Wil-son said ihat there was another Crowd of men that entered the city at about the same time his crowd, did. and that In all probability the onions were stolen by them. The young ladv who saw the theft committed was called call-ed 10 the station to Identify the men arrested, but she was not positive as to their Identity. Shu said that there was a large crowd of tho men that participated In the taking of the onions on-ions and that it would be quite Impossible Im-possible for her to identify any of them. . , The officers state that there are a number of men "floating" into the city at this time and, in order to furnish protection to the people, they are rolng to arrest all suspicious characters char-acters and compel them to give a satisfactory sat-isfactory accounting of themselves.
