Show OPENING NUMBER OF INTER-CLASS DEBATES In the first of the series of Jnter-ciass Jnter-ciass debates at the Weber Academy yesterday afternoon, tho Junior team was defeated by tho Seniors. The judges were Judge E. G. Gowans, Dr. Fred G Clark and Dr. Joseph R. Mor-rell. Mor-rell. A large and enthusiastic audience aud-ience was present. Tho question was; "Resolved that Tariff Should be Imposed for Revenue Only." The peniors, oonxpoecd of William Winters, Edith Barlow, Law. rence Greenwell, with Myrtle Rams den aa substitute took tho negatlvo side, while the afflrmaUve was taken tak-en ' by the Juniors, represented by Lawrence Richards, William Critch low and Alma Wilson, with Davis Green as substitute. Tho debate Is the first of a series to see which class numerals are placed plac-ed on tho cup given by tho class of 1905. The winning tam will represent repre-sent tho school In the state championship champion-ship series. |
