Show ARRIVAL OF FARMERS' TRAIN The Oregon Short Line's demonstration demon-stration train, styled "The Farmer's Institute Special," began the trip this morning that will Include all points on the line In northern Utah and southern Idaho. The special is scheduled sched-uled to arrive In Ogden at 2:50 p. m., and whll here It will be stationed at the depot. Lectures will be given by the experts from 4 to 5 p. m , when the train will leave for Brlgham City. The work of teaching the farmers of Utah how to raise potatoes was really begun In Salt Lake last night, at a meeting held at the Commercial clob. Eugene H. Grubb, of Carbon-dale, Carbon-dale, Colo, the recognized authority on potato culture, and who heads the corps of experts. Bent out on the demonstration dem-onstration train, was tho principal speaker, and had much to say and explain ex-plain about the pleblan tuber. In tho talks made by the experts, and which will be given to each of the designated designat-ed stops In the itlnorary. the wbole process of potato culture, from the preparation of tho soil and the planting plant-ing of the seed, up to the time of the marketing of the product, and even to the table, la gone into detail. Following Fol-lowing the talks questions are answered answer-ed and any doubtful point explained to the interested farmer.
