Show DELIVERY BOY FINED BY JUDGE I In the hearing of the case against J. A. Olsen, a delivery boy, on the charge of leaving a horse at the curb untied, brought out the fact that the jouag man, in tho language of Judge ' Murphy, In police court, "at least, had been careless in not throwing his : weight, attached to the horse's bit, out of the wagon when he stepped inside a store to do business." i "There was evidently no intention on the part of the boy to violate the law," said the Judge, "but, technically, he did so and It Is my duty to see that the ordinances are enforced. The city council passed this particular ordinance or-dinance for the purpose of avoiding runaways in the city and the law will have to be observed It Is much hotter hot-ter and safer for delivery boys to throw out their weights, than It Is to undertake to watch their horses when they are busy at something else. Fine him $5, Mr. Clerk." |
