Jennings office I In the Judge Building In Salt Lake X City is a 'busy place In preparation for the big Good Roads convention to ' be held In the Armory hall. Salt Lake, Jan. 2C, 27 and 28. The program foi . the occasion was decided upon 1ie day at the board meeting In tho office of-fice of Gov. William Spry, there be- i Ing prwent O. H. Hewlett, and Secretary Secre-tary J. B. Jennings of Salt Lake; O. B. Madsen, county commissioner ol f Weber county; Caleb Tanner, state engineer, all members of the Good Roads executive board. At the meeting It was announced that the railroads have made rates for the round trip. The rates start Jan. 24, good returning until Jan. SI. From the information received, every county of the stato, and every city and town of rnrportanoe, will be, repreeentedi at the convention. Many of the adjoining states will have largo delegations, Gov. Brady of Idaho sending send-ing word that his plate wDl probably have doublo the number previously announced. The United States government gov-ernment will be represenU-d by its greatest road expert, Logan Wk Page, "and others who will deliver lecture c-n road materials, road construction ,. -anil road preservation. Indications ard, this will be the Wgge6t and most successful good roads convention yet held in the west. ' PROGRAM OUTLINED.
