Johnny IJ Wilson of Boston won the middle- IH weight boxing championship of the , IJ world when he was awarded a- ref- oroe's decision over Mike' O'Dowd of St. Paul here tonight. The fight went twelve rounds. O'Dowd was the aggressor through-out through-out the contest but Wilson, a left-handed left-handed boxer, scored repeatedly with his right. O'Dowd excelled, in infight- lng but seemed unable to fathom Wil- jH son's style of boxing. Eight of the rounds went to Wilson, two to O'Dowd and two were even.
