Show II w I Aged Man Overcome; I Falls and Hurts Sieadj John Wothcrspoon, 7C years old, of I ' 2734 Pacific avenue, was seriously injured in-jured last night while ho was awaiting await-ing for -a car at the corner of Wall avenue and Twenty-fourth street. He lis subject to sinking spells, it is said, j -and while awaiting for" the car Avas apparently overcome. In falling he hit .his head against a cement block, eye -witnesses state. J Henry Alfred and Frank Brewer rushed to the assistance of Wother-, Wother-, spoon and summoned Dr. H. W. Nelson, Nel-son, who chanced to bo turning the ( corner in his automobile. The severe I ,gash on the back of the injured man's I Tiead was bandaged and he was removed remov-ed to his home. ' Reports received this morning indicated indi-cated that Wotherspoon had regained i consciousness and that ho was thought to have a good chance for recovery. He had been an employe at the John Scowcroft and Son's company for tho pjlst 27 years. |
