Show WEBER ROD-II STAGES MEET! The monthly meeting of the Weber Rod and Gun association was held last night in the Weber County court house with President A. T. Hestmark presiding. pre-siding. Several problems were discussed dis-cussed and the attendance was recorded re-corded as a decord one. President Hestmark and some of the members of the organization aided by Game Warden "Buck" Andersdn, will plant more than 500 fish in the streams of Weber conty Sunday. The fish to be planted will weight from 1 to 3 pounds it is said. Tho club planned to obtain several Beavers for use in various parts of the county but due to the high waters In the canyons, it is impossible at this time according to Warden Anderson However, Warden Anderson told of obtaining ob-taining one female a few days ago. The female has since had kittens and the family now numbers five. Projects for good fishing in the streams of Weber county aro better than they have been Tor years according accord-ing to Anderson and the lovers of rod 'and reel will no doubt have a great year. Trout fishing at Beaver is closed and will be closed until further notice. Tonight Stale Fish and Game Commissioner Com-missioner R. H. Siddoway in company with President A. T. Hestmarkand S. B. Locks will aid in organizing a club at Provo. It Is said that clubs are being be-ing formed In all parts of thes tate. The next meeting of the club will be held Friday, June 4. |
