Show i Majority of Master Bakers ' Agree to Terms of New I Contract A majority of the Master Bakers of Ogden have accepteifthe terms of the now contract hat was drawn up by Bakery and Confectionery . ' The now scale of wages and other requests made by the baker3 follow: Bench or machine workers shall receive re-ceive not less than $36 a week. Dough mixers and ovenmen not less than $40 a week. Foromea notless than $12 a week. Jobbers not less than $1 an hour. Apprentices to be paid $18 a week for the first six months, for the second six months, $24. for the second year $30 and at the end of the third year, If qualified shall become a journeyman. All overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. Workers not to be allowed to work moce than two hours a day overtime. It Is stated In the contract that tho scale shall go into effect May 1, and shall continue in effect for one year. oo |
