Show 1 GREETINGS FROM THE PRES1DEISGY OF OGDEN STAKE Ogdeu stake presidency has sent oul the following greetings: Greetings to the Snints of the Ogden Stake of Zion: During the troublesotuo time through which we have been passing It has been impossible for us to meet together togeth-er in our usual assemblies, either as wards or as a stake, therefore we take ibis method of communicating communi-cating with you, although there has never been a time when we should be more united, and in accord ac-cord with the word, work, and spirit of the Lord, which, if burning burn-ing within our souls we shall be fed the bread of life. I There is no doubt that we are I living In the times spoken of when I "even the saints shall hardly es-I es-I cape the plagues of the earth." Many have passed through trying scenes and their hearts have been tornw!th sorrow and grief from 1 the terrible conditions of the great I war, and thf scourge of disease, j but remember that our Father. who knoweth even the sparrows ' fall, overrulPth all to our good, if ; we but trust in Him. The wounds, j and the blessings, too, that we re-i re-i ceive are among I ho lessons of life which we must learn, though the mysteries we cannot solve. But let us go on in faith and live ! and work to the finish of this life's ! lessons and at the journeys end I we may rest assured to find that our ship of faith has been guided ! by our father who is at the helm. ! Hold fast, and makp manifest the integrity of Latter-day Saints and J these apparent trials and tribula-i tribula-i lions will be lightened, and valor j and courage will be given the faithful in His name. We commend you in your right-I right-I coius endeavors, In organizations and individually, and our hearts j go out to you in blessing at this ! Christmas time. Remember what V He did for us. Forget not -that ! He is wnlchful.of us always, and so maintain the dignity of His dis-I dis-I ciplcs, before Him and the world, that wo may receive within our .
