Show CHICAGO. Dec. 24 Moses Iralson, a diamond merchant, was robbed of poms valued at between $100,000 and $125,000 by four holdup men. today in what the police called the most daring daylight robbery in the history of Chicago. The robbers escaped, supposedly sup-posedly in an automobile, but one was fired on by a special policeman who with two other men engaged in a1 struggle with the fugitive before he fluded'them. Iralson's office' is on the seventh floor of a bank building at Chicago's busiost downtown street corner. He and a friend were found bound with picture frame cord on the office floor. Iralson said his clothing was searched and the safe ransacked by the bandits who upon entering the office levelled revolvers at the merchant and his friend. |
