Show f Society V J MARRIED AT PARSONAGE The marriage of a well known Qg-den Qg-den girl was salemnized Friday after-! after-! noon when Miss Ivy Holbrook and Mr. Clyde Thompson weVe quietly wedded in the home of Rev. John Edward Ed-ward Carver. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson will-maTte their home in Oakland. California Cal-ifornia after a few weeks honeymoon. A bit of romance that was as quaint as it was exceptional was the service with a wedding ring that had been worn for fifty one years by the bride's mother. Tho gold for the ring having been dug from Montana gold fields by Mr. Holbrook fifty four years ago and given by him to a pioneer jeweler to be made into a wedding ring. WED ON CHRISTMAS EVE Christmas Eve was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bradley last evening in old time romantic ro-mantic manner. The rooms were decorated dec-orated with holly and greens and festooned fes-tooned with holiday ornaments. A large Christmas tree, richly decorated, stood in ono corner. Tho rooms were filled with guests from the northern part of the state, several families of relatives being present from Hyrum, Preston and Pocatello Valley. The guests had assembled lo witness wit-ness the wedding of Mr. Bradley's brother, Ivor Edwin Bradley to Miss Bobbie Rouk. Bickett. The groom is a prosperous cattle man of Pocatello Valley and the bride is one of three California girls who had come to Pocatello Poc-atello Valley a year ago lo leach in the public schools. At six o'clock the young couple were united in wedlock, tho Rev. John Edward Ed-ward Carver officiating. Lleutenanl Leland C. Mentor of Logan acted as groomsman and Miss Bernice Woll-man Woll-man of .Fullerton, California attended the bride. The bride was attired in a white crepe de chine trimmed with pearl lace and silver fringe. Miss Wellman wore a pink silk gown. After the services the company partook of an. old time-Christmas time-Christmas dinner and at a late houi the wedding party departed by trail to spend Christmas day among friend; in Cache Valley.
