Show DALLAS, Tex., Dec. 25. Big nil pro-:. pro-:. ducers of ihe southwest predict that peace will bring increased production and increased consumption of fuel oil, l lubricating oil and gasoline. Tlie declare that to meet specifica-r specifica-r lions for high grade fuel oil for ad- mlralty purposes it was necessary to ; jefinc much crude oil- under wasteful ; conditions, which will not obtain in the 'uturc ; Increased consumption, producers ?ay, will result from neutral markets ' replenishing their stocks, from more general use of motor cars in European countries that have been at war, and from tlip use in Great Britain, France, 3nd Italy, of thousands of motor lor vies, now in the war zone, as auxiliary systems of o erworked railways. But this increased demand will be more than offset by increased production, produc-tion, officers of the large Tcxts companies com-panies declare. Production in the north Texas field now is 62,000 barrels a day, the gulf field is producing 68,000 barrels, the Kansas field 90,000 barrels, the Oklahoma fields, outside of Cush-Ing Cush-Ing and Healton. 142,000. the dishing 4-1,500 and the Healton 12,500. The Texas figures show an increase over figures for the quarter ending September Septem-ber 30, which gave the total production produc-tion as 9,244,81-1 barrels, valued at 51S.091.219. This was an increase of more than a million barrelR over the June quarter and two million over the March quarter. Experts here say the Mexican fields alone have a potential production of 1,-000.000 1,-000.000 barrels a day. Producers predict that with the extension ex-tension of the oil fields, oil stations 'will be established at ports throughout the world and permit of further adoption adop-tion by ships of oil burning power systems. |
