Show BERRY PRELIMINARY BIG WILL BE ' TOMORROW Frank Berry, proprietor of tho Royal Dancing academy and charged with assault as-sault with intent to kill his divorced wife, Harriet Berry, will be given a preliminary hearing at 10 o'clock tomorrow to-morrow morning in Judge George S. Barker's municipal court. Berry is at liberty on $5000 bond. County Attorney Charles Farr will use orfiy three witnesses. They will bo I James CJrow, who interfered and saved I the woman from possible death; Mrs. JCalva Berry Hill, daughter of the two .principals, who witnessed the shoot - ing; and Sergi. O'. II. Bohlman, who placed Berry under arrest within a few 'minutes after the tragedy. It is under- stood that Attorney George Halverson, i counsel for the defense, will use no witnesscsTind will seek to waive the preliminary- Mrs. Berry will not appear ap-pear because she has not sufficiently recovered from her injuries |
