Show ffllESTIOIIES ME GIVING JtirOflNEYS MUCH WORK Members of the legal advisory boards for Weber county and Ogden city are finding that they have as sumcd a rather tedious task in assisting assist-ing registrants to fill out questionnaires question-naires sent Ihem by draft boards The chief trouble seems to be that regis trains do not study the questionnaires sufficiently before seeking the assistance assist-ance of the members of the board. Many come without a well formed idea of any of the questions in the booklet I or without having checked up on their past lives so they can give correct answers an-swers to the many questions. One source of trouble is found in assisting foreign residents. Many have no idea what they are supposed to answer through th questionnaires and the attorneys have to conduct a veritable naturalization examination to. make a comprehensive report. Series "ten" also offers some difficulty diffi-culty to registrants. It relates to dependency de-pendency of relatives and requires minute information as to income and financial assistance given to dependents. depend-ents. The specific question which requires re-quires a statement of all the occupations occupa-tions the registrant has been cm-ployed cm-ployed at for the past ten years is also rather difficult as there are many laborers la-borers who have kept no record of their odd jobs and migrations and have poor memories. |
