Show SPOUTS HUE LOOKING FORWARD TO BAnLE THIS EHEHK Ogden followers of Iho ring game are looking forward with considerahle eagerness to the big match tonight between be-tween two big men, Jim Downing of Tremonton, and Sailor Jack Smith of Ogden, at the Eagles' gym. This match has been in course of preparation for some lime' and the news has spread far and wide that the two most likely heavyweights in the intermountain country will enter the ring for the championship. It will be a six round affair but those who know the qualities quali-ties of both boys say It will probably not go this length of time. Downing's record is quite well known in these parts while Smith's Is not. Those who have seen the sailor train at the gymnasium gym-nasium recently readily believe that he has something that Downing needs to be careful of. Each man has declared he will win. If this was not a customary declaration declara-tion of bcfore-battle boxers It would pass unheard, but in this case it will probably' be remembered. Besides the main smash, several rattling rat-tling good preliminaries have been arranged ar-ranged and Include such local lights as Kid Davis and Jack Stevenson, Sandy San-dy Kent and Dick Nordon, and other satellitles of the padded fist game.
