Show Deaths and Funerals SPRAGUE The funeral services of David L. Sprague, formerly of Ogden who met his death in an elevator accident ac-cident in Los Angeles will be held at the Lindquist Chapel at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Mr. Sprague Is survived by his wife, a brother, E. E. Sprague, of Rexburg, Idaho, who will be here for the funeral; and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Baker or Tetonia, Idaho, and Mrs. Ella Jensen of Castle Dale, Utah. MARRIOTT Another Ogden pioneer pio-neer passed away yesterday in the person of Mrs. Margaret Marriott. Mrs. Marriott was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, April 4, 1S39, the (laughter of James and Isabelle Walton Wal-ton Burton. She was the widow ot the late John Marriott. The decedent was baptized into the L. L. S. church in England, in 184S, and came to Utah in 1S55. She resided in Kaysvillo two years and has since lived in this county. She was a sister of the late W. W. Burton. Mrs. Marriott has always al-ways been a faithful member of the L. D. S. church and an active worker. Besides two brothers, James and Thomas Burton of Ogden, the decedent 'is survivea Dy tne iouowing cniiuiuu: Mrs. Annie Hogge, Mrs. Isabel Els-worth, Els-worth, Mrs.. Margaret Morris, Miss Mary Marriott and Mrs. Lucy Lam-oreaux, Lam-oreaux, twenty gandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Bishop E. A Olson will conduct tho funeral services ser-vices Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the Fourth ward meeting house. 'At the home of the daughter, 2029 Liberty avenue, the body may be viewed this evening and Wednesday until 1 p. m. Burial will bo in tho city cemetery. TAYLOR James Taylor whose attempt at-tempt to commit suicido was reported a few days ago has passed away as a result of his self-inflicted act. The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. in the Kir-kendall Kir-kendall chapel under the auspices of the local Eagles' lodge of which, the deceased was a member. Interment Ogden city cemetery- EVERTSON Hondrana Evertson. 7-year-old daughter of Everet and Lizzie Evertson died at the home, 845 Sullivan avenue following appendicitis and an attack of smallpox. The little girl was born February 5, 1911, and was one of a family of six children. Funeral services were held at 5 p. m. this afternoon outside the home, Bishop Bis-hop W. O. Ridges presiding. Interment Ogden City cemetery. i |
