He is stationed with the Military Postal Expeditionary service, and works in the A. P. O 710. He speaks with great pleasure of meeting many boys from Utah, and particularly of Wheelwright who used to operate the Oracle movie house on Washington avenue, and "vvho has been doing magnificent service with his men in the heavy fighting of early August. Enclosed in the letters are the covers cov-ers taken from a can of Pierco's Pork and Beans and Parker's Sugar Peas, concerning which he says: "While up around the front line, to my surprise I noticed some of Dick Pierce's and Parker's canned products. Have gone over the top during the drivfc. Am enclosing you a couple of labels to prove that Ogden is well represented over here." i oo |
