The pink color scheme was also carried out , in all the details of the dinner. JIand painted place cards in pink sweet peas I were laid for fourteen guests. Mrs. John O. Peterson was hostess on Saturday afternoon at a charmingly charming-ly appointed luncheon at her home, in compliment of her guest, Mrs. B, N. Saunders The living rooms and dining din-ing room were attractively arranged with daffodils and shasta daisies. A crystal basketof the blossoms formed a pretty cente'rpiece for the luncheon table. The hostess was assisted by Miss Nettie Peterson and Libblo Paries. Besides the hostess and guest of honor, covers were laid for eighteen. Mrs. Saunders was the guest of honor at another delightful affair giv-n giv-n by Mrs. R. L. Ilarman at her home n Marrin-Dale avenue. A yellow col-)r col-)r scheme pre ailed in the details of he luncheon and in tho house decora- uons. An attractive centerpiece of ellow tulips was used for the lunch- 'on table. Women's club met Monday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Frank W. Thatcher on Center street. Dr. E. C. Davis had charge of the afternoon's aft-ernoon's program and gave a very interesting in-teresting talk on "The Chemistry of the War." The rooms were attractively arranged in pink and white carnations and a delicious de-licious luncheon served at small tables ta-bles decorated in the same flowers. The commercial Boosters club's regular reg-ular monthly dinner was given Monday evening at the Hotel Logan. Mr. John D. Spencer of Salt Lake gave an excellent ex-cellent talk on "Salesmanship." Mr. S S. Reynolds acted as toastmastor. About sevcuty-flvo guests were m attendance. Tho Young Men's olub held their regular monthly banquet Friday ove-ning ove-ning at the Hotel Eccles. Professor George B. Hendrioks gave a vory interesting in-teresting talk on "The Farm and Loan Act." Mrs. B. N. Saunders of Salt Lake, who has been tho guest of her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. John O. Peterson, for ten days, has returned home. Miss Nettle Peterson returned Friday Fri-day from a three months' trip to California. Cal-ifornia. The Rev. and Mrs, E. T.
