Richards of the Committee Commit-tee on Preparation and Safety and other chairmen of sub-committees and active workers in the organization, including in-cluding Judge J. A. Howell, W J. Parker, Heber Scowcroft, Captain William Wil-liam E. Kneass, Lieut. J. W. Farley, and others, went to Salt Lake today to attend a conference called by Governor Gover-nor Simon Bamberger for the purpose of unifying all efforts in the mobilization mobiliza-tion work first started here with marked success by the Preparation and Safety committee. Others who are actively engaged in the mobilization work, under direction of the general committee, or who are making efforts on collateral lines, also attended the conference. These included in-cluded Commissioners Heywood, Jones and Flygarc, W. H. Wattls, president of the Weber club; Calvin Stewart, John C. Lynch, Edwin Dix, Apostle David O. McKay, John Watson, Jos. TJ. Eldredge, Jr., and Roscoe C. Glas-mann. Glas-mann. County Commissioners Brown, Ensign En-sign and Skeen did not attend the conference, but they gave assurances today of active co-operation in the general committee's program of achievement. oo |
