Show WILLIAM FOX IS 0GDEIS VESITOR William Fox, noted "movie" producer, produc-er, passed through Ogden last night on his way from Los Angeles to New York and was met at the railroad station sta-tion by Joseph F. Goss, manager of the Orpheum theatre, who has exhibited exhib-ited here all of the important Fox productions, including tho super de luxe features like "A Fool There Was," starring Theda Bara. Mr. Fox said the war would not hurt business and that it would bo silly for the country to become panicky at this time. He said he thought the psy-copathlc psy-copathlc epidemic of general mental excitement, naturally attending great world events, soon will pass, and that tho people will buckle down in grim earnest to continue and enhance prosperity pros-perity and, by mobilization of all resources, re-sources, especially those of the vast areas of unproductive land, to make America thoroughly efficient Ups and downs of the stock market, mar-ket, said Mr. Fox, aro merely symp- I toms of the excitement over the war, now happily steadying down. oo |
