Marines, Ma-rines, our soldiers of the sea, who, numbering now about 17,000, comprise what all military experts declare to be most efficient fighting body In the world. Like the Northwest Mounted Police, or tho Texas Rangers, a few of these Marines always overawe, by the fame of their fighting prowess, any kind of ordinary uprising, anywhere, in peace or war. All critics say they have ever lived up to the letter, as well as the spirit of the motto of the corps, "Simper Fidelis." Sergeant Lynn Molbos of the corps, wearing medals of honor for good con-duct con-duct and efficiency, has opened recruiting re-cruiting offices at 326 Twenty-fifth street. "I'm here to enlist men between the ages of 18 and 35," he said, ex-marines up to 40, and youths between 17 and 18 with consent of parents.
