Cullen of West Weber are named among the winners of honors in the annual Inspection of the Southern Pacific Pa-cific railroad system, recently completed. com-pleted. They were each awarded a silver medal, the former for having kept his power houso and tho latter his station, In perfect condition during dur-ing the year 1916. This information has Just been made known to the employes all over the system by the Southern Pacific Bulletin. With a score of 92.72 "perfect," the Bulletin states, the Sacramento division, divi-sion, under Superintendent J. D. Bren-nan, Bren-nan, has carried off the honors as the "best division" on the system for 1916. Among the roadmastors, B. Roland, in charge of tho Sulsun district on tho western division, won first honors, with a scoro of 96.04. Foreman J. Mullen has placed his section, No. 5, on the San Jose district, coast division, at the head of tho 800 sections on tho system by earning a Bcoro of 98.2. These two men each received a gold medal. Silver modals wero awarded to forty-eight section foremen, eighty two to agents for perfect stations, twenty-nine to pumpers for perfect pump houses, thirteen pumpers for perfect per-fect fuel oil plants and to fourteen engineers en-gineers for perfect power plants. Thoso honors wero won in competition competi-tion with all others on a mileage of over 7000, with 800 sections and C86 stations entered, and, tho Bulletin states, tho good work of tho winners will bo appreciated and congratulations congratula-tions extended to thorn. |
