In Now York the Giants rule a strong favorite. There is no doubt about McGraw having a great team. Ho Is strong in every department, but I do not believe this outfit will make a runaway race. Boston was right up in the fight last year. So was Philadelphia. Both of these clubs have been strengthened. Mathowson la sure to give Cincinnati a worthy team, while Pittsburgh has many promising youngsters who will be heard from. Fred Mitchell should prove a corking cork-ing manager and I look for him to have the Cubs right in the midst of the struggle from April to October.
