Frank Chance led his Angel athletes, oight- ?en strong, out of this city early to- day for Salt Lake for a six-game se-M se-M ries with the Bees. It is the initial H road trip for the club this year. B Following are the players who are making the trip: Catchers, Boles, Bass- lor and Lepan; pitchers. Ryan. Hail. B ' Hogg, Jasper, Standridge. Crandall and M Brown; infielders, Gleichmann, Gard- I ned, Davis, Schultz and Grocling; out-M out-M fielders, Mcusel, Killifer and Maggert B Onlv one player was left behind. He M is Mclntvre, the lanky youngster H I whom Chance Is trying to place in the H Northwestern league. H President Powers did not accompany B the team, but left for Salt Lake on H ( the next train. He was forced to re-H re-H I mam in Los Angeles early today on H ' business, and before ho left he an-H an-H I J nounced that either Otis Crandall or H . Brown would open the series against H the Bees. Both heavers are in good H 1 1 shape. H U "I'm well satisfied with tho way the H 'team played last week," said Chance.
