Saturday afternoon aft-ernoon Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Keller gave a reception and dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Keith of Canada, Can-ada, who have been spending several weeks in this city visiting relatives, prior to their departure for the Sa-moan Sa-moan Islands, where they will' perform missionary work. Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Willard Keith, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Frodsham, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Frodsham, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Ingram, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Keller, Kel-ler, Mrs. Nephena Frodsham, Miss .Adelia Frodsham, George and Leland Frodsham. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Hess motored to Ogden Sunday, where they were joined join-ed by Miss Knowels, and then continued con-tinued on to Farmington, where the day was spent visiting relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs, J. F. Bowring and children spent Monday In Salt Lake visiting Mrs. Bowrlng's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Midgley. Miss Lavotta Wallace and Homer Holmgren entertained their Sunday school class In the Third ward amusement amuse-ment hall Saturday evening at a Hol-lowe'en Hol-lowe'en party. The decorations were in keeping with the season and dainty refreshments were served. Dancing formed the principal amusement. ' MlBses Frances Stone and Carmelite Carme-lite Pitt and Messrs. George Warren and Harry Stone of Salt Lake spent Saturday evening and Sunday In this city as guests of Mrs. Frances Pitt, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Ensign and Mrs. EffleJEnUjn Merrill of Logan, spent Sunday in this city visiting relatives. rel-atives. Mrs. Vernon Sheffield and Miss Bernice Gldney were up from Salt Lake Sunday and spent the day visiting vis-iting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Gidney. Misses Louise and Marie Penrose and Bert Leitz and Penrose Burnham of Salt Lake were the guests of Miss Ethleen Forsgren Saturday evening and Sunday. Miss Ruby Hunsaker entertained at a Hallowe'en party Monday evening at her home in Honeyville, and quite a number of her Brigham friends were invited guests. Monday evening the Misses Prudett SImonsen, Doris Merrell and Deloris Reese entertained very pleasantly at a Hallowe'en party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Merrell. About thirty-five guests were present Mrs. Pern' D. Peters entertained Friday afternoon at a Kensington in honor of a number of friends and members of ladies' clubs of tho city. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. White, formerly of Ogden, spent a day or two of the week in Brigham visiting relatives and friends. Miss Eliza Hanson entertained the Civic Improvement club at her home last Thursday afternoon. The afternoon after-noon was a social success, and a most delightful time was spent. Among those present were: H. J. Heaton, E. W. Dunn, Orson Hudson, W. L. Hoist, C. W. Knudson, John C. Knudson, Charles W. Knudson, W. I. Hargis, W. O. Knudson, T. Poulos, D. H. Rosen-baum, Rosen-baum, LeRoy B. Young, Elias Jensen, Nels Jenson, Dan Petersen, J. A. West, J. H. Zundel and the Misses Trieste Box and Eliza Hanson. Mrs. J. Frances Merrell entertained the Ladies' Republican club Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon at her new home, First West between Fourth and Fifth South. Vistors from out side Brigham were Airs. W. J. uavis anci wrs. inrner 01 Salt Lake, both of whom gave short talks. Miss Florence Kelley entertained a few friends at a Hallowe'en party Saturday Sat-urday evening at her home, First West South. Among the guests were Misses Jesse Whitaker, Bernice Gidney, Gid-ney, Marjorie Horsley, Aglyia-Anderson, Ramona Jensen, Florence Kelley, Anna Laura Stohl, Elva Blackburn, and Messrs. Bert Merrill, Worth Anderson, And-erson, Glendon Anderson, Lorin Anderson, And-erson, Preston Watklns and Vera Ip-sen. Ip-sen. Mrs. J. Will Pett entertained at a Kensington Friday afternoon. Supper was served at 6 p. m.
