The service lineman then went to Brlgham City and was working in the plant of the Ogden Portland Cement company near that town, when he had a narrow escape" from death. He was installing a meter at the rear of the big switchboard in the power room of tho plant, near a number of unprotected unpro-tected switches carrying thousands of volts of electricity. A short circuit sent a flash of electric elec-tric current that scorched Koll's face, from the chin to tho top of his forehead, fore-head, and a portion of his neck, and deeply seared his left hand. That ho instinctively closed his oyes, is all that, saved him from being permanently perma-nently blinded. |
