Show MENTION, ITERS Among the issues to be determined by the people of this Judicial District ia ono that affects our Judges. Is it your will that our judicial officers shall be liftod abovo tho plane of partisan par-tisan politics and relieved from the criticism sometimes heard, that- decisions deci-sions are ofton dictated by self-interest and a purpoBo to socuro re-election or perpetuity in office? Such criticism, criti-cism, vhothor juHt or unjust, tends to- bring contempt upon our courts and impairs tho administration of justice. jus-tice. Advocating the non-partisan nomination nomi-nation and election of. our Judiciary and the passage of laws to that end, Arthur E. Pratt, a Democrat, and Al-fed Al-fed W. Agee, a Progressive-Republican, were nominated by the Democratic Demo-cratic party of this district to sucoed the present judges. Both men are prominent members of the bar of Ogden. with.a professional profession-al experience extending over a period of twenty-five or more years. Having been nominated on a platform which pledges them to keep out of partisan politics, they have consistently kept that pledge during the present campaign. cam-paign. Their candidacy has been passive, pas-sive, rather than active Nevertheless, Neverthe-less, both are earnest in their purpose and endeavor to bring tho judicial system of the state to a higher state of perfection if possible. Every vote for Mr. Pratt and Mr. Agee will strengthen the public sentiment senti-ment now existing' in fayor of .legislation .legisla-tion that will take our Judiciary out of partisan politics and permit the selection of men of the highest legal attainments and character as judges of our courts, regardless of the parties to which they belong.
