Show Kiini&tv AT CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH. Those who aro familiar with the cull-nary cull-nary capabilities ot the ladles of the Congregational church will be pleased to learn that they may have one of those good dinners at the church parlors par-lors Thursday evening. Articles of needlework will also bo on display during tho afternoon and evening. BIRTHDAY SURPRISE. A very successful birthday surprise was given Mrs. Shipley at her homo on Thirty-second street, Thursday evening, high-five boing played. The table was decorated with cutglaBS and hand painted china and a lovely luncheon lunch-eon was served. Mrs. Shipley was presented with a beautiful cutglass bowl, a token from her friends. Those present wore: Mesdames Hanley, Duddlngton, Weaver, Baker, Ludwlg, Furnace, Fellows, Fel-lows, Baumolster, Dora, Watkins, Prcece, N. Varney, Smalley, Ford, Carey, Cashmore, Rasmusson and Mrs. Shipley. Tho ladleB departed at a lato hour wishing Mrs. Shipley many happy birthdays to come. |
