Show oo E. O. LEE TO HEAR HANSON ARGUMENT Salt Lake, Jan. 26. E. O. Lee, a local attorney, was appointed referee by the supreme court yesterday afternoon aft-ernoon to hear the evldenoe in the disbarment proceedings against Wll-laxd Wll-laxd Hanson. Taking of evidence will begin as soon as the attorneys on both sides are at liberty to proceed. pro-ceed. Mr. Lee will formulate findings and conclusions, which he will submit to the supreme court and on which that court will base a decision as to Hanson's Han-son's fitness to continue as a member of the Utah Bar association. Counsel for each side submitted several sev-eral names to the court as suggestions sugges-tions for a referee, and it was tentatively tenta-tively agreed that W. H. Bramel should bo appointed, but during the day the defense interposed objections to Mr. Bramel and Mr. Lee was ap-lointed. |
