Cook In double boiler un-' un-' til the rice is tender and you have j about a cup and a half of rice Now you can add cooked date, figs, seeded raisins, chopped almonds or an cooked nuts or preserved fruit you wish. A.dd about half a cup of sugar if fruit is used, more BUgar will be required without addition of fruit. Flavor with a little vanilla and stir in half a box of softened gelatin-, dissolved over boiling water. Place in a pan of Ice water and stir occafion ally until the mixture begins to thick-! ;en; then mix in carefully from a cup to cup and a half of cream whipped drv and solid. When the mixture will not run from the spoon or paddle turn it into a mould and set in ice chest to harden |
