Show FORMER 0MB STORY APPEARS I A MAGAZINE A illiam Wesley, for several years prominently associated with the Ogden Og-den Socialist local and well known in Ogden and Utah newspaper circles, has recently reeehed recognition as a story writer A romantic Indian story entitled "The Quest of the Peso-la-kl" is published in the- February issue is-sue of the Wide World magazine, which has just been received in Ogden. The story concerns a hidden In dian mine, jealously guarded by its owners, for which prospectors havo been seeking vainly for nearly a century, cen-tury, many of them giving up their llvt s It relates an experience of a prospector named Cass Hite to Whom, the author states, he was indebted in-debted for the material from which it was written. John Hite, a brother of Cass Hito, Is at present the postmaster at Hite. Utah, and "Lon"' Turner, who also figures in the story, resides at Hanks ville. Utah |
