Show 1 Society RETURNED TODAY. Mrs. Edwin L. Howes, who has been spending the week-end with friends in Salt Lake, returned home today after af-ter a delightiul visit. Mr Howes returned re-turned Sunday evening, having sup-piled sup-piled the solo in Phillips church that morning. OGDENITES IN MONTANA. Three Forks, Mont., Jan 5 Mr and Mrs John B. Koch have been in the city of Three Forks visiting their children, Arthur B. Koch and Mrs. Homer Thompson. They have been royally entertained while In the city by dinner parties and rides. Even though it may pecm queer, the wea ther has been fine with only a few real cold days. The night before New Year It rained and as the roada were dusty it was a good thing. New Year's day was almost perfect- Mr. and Mrs. Koch with their children and some friends went to the city of Boze-man Boze-man and took dinner at the home ot Mr. Koch's sister, Mrs. Richard Bier lng. and attended to a concert at the Elks' home that afternoon. They will return to Three Forks, January 6, for a short visit and will then depart for Ogden. WILL GIVE TEA. Thursday from 2 o'clock until 8, Queen Esther Chapter No. A, O. E, S., will entertain at a tea to be given in the Masonic parlors. All visiting members are invited. FORMER OGDENITES HERE. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Woodruff and family of Burley, Idaho, formerly residents of Ogden, are in this city for a two monthB' visit. Mr and Mrs. Woodruff are at home to their many friends at 521 Twenty-third street. ENTERTAINS AT LUNCHEON. Monday at the Hotel Utah, Miss Agnes Erickson of Ogden entertained entertain-ed in a charming manner in honor of Miss Agnes Hansen, a Salt Lake bride-elect of this month. The table decorations were in pink, pink roses and tulle being effectively arranged while cards in a unique design de-sign attached to pink rosea were laid at each guest's place. A theater party was enjoyed following the luncheon. HOME CULTURE CLUB. Tomorrow afternoon the Home Cul ture club will meet with Mrs. Thomas J. Fitzgerald at her home, 2424 Jackson Jack-son avenue. |
