After his re- 1 covery, nothing daunted, he prepared himself for the lecture platform, and is now able, not only to make an honorable living, but to preach the i gospel of optimism to his more fav- I ored, but less tried, companions lu I school life. His talk wag pleasantly interspersed interspers-ed with recitation and anecdote; and a a slight token of their apprecia- t on. the students and teachers took up a collection netting a sum of over Mr Hanks seems not to lack oppor-tupity oppor-tupity for the use of his talent of j encouragement and hearty good will to all men. a faculty which the de- ' plorable accident did not kill, but probably was the means of awaking fl1 into life; and the good wishes of MM the school went with him to his next WmU appointment in a southern Utah town I tonight.
