Show HARRY MARTIN LEFT CITY IN SEARCH OF IRK In explanation of the departure a week ago last Monday of Harry Martin, Mar-tin, cousin of J, H. Martin, Harry's i.ither, said today that some one had to make a living for the family and keep up the home and that Harry concluded that he had better go out in search for work. He said that the situation is very' embarrassing for the entire Martin family and that it was not an easy matter for Harry to get work in Ogden at thiB time. His heretofore good name had been questioned ques-tioned seriously and the finger of criminal scorn was being continually pointed at him. Besides this, the father explained, Harry and all of the ether members of the family are harassed har-assed each day by numerous questions ques-tions from officers, detectives and the people generally until there is hardly any peace "We are greatly distressed over the situation," the elderly Martin said, "and we hardly know which way to turn. It seems that everything every-thing connected with blackmailing, or most anything else in the shape of crime for that matter, is laid at the door of my home and the people have no idea what a serious situation 1'; is. I am taking care of Henry's family " |
