Show DERELICT SHIP TO BE DESTROYED Revenue Cutter Finds Tank Steamer Oklahoma in Path of Traffic. New York, N. Y . Jan. 7 The derelict dere-lict of the tank steamer Oklahoma the forepart of the vessel which went to pieces on Sunday, fifty miles south of Sandy Hook, was round yes terday by the revenue cutter Seneca A wireless message from Captain C. E. Johnson of the Seneca stated that he would destroy the derelict today, as it Is in the path of trans-Atlantic travel. Tonight, the message added, the Seneca would start for New York bringing the bodies of three members of tho crew of the Oklahoma, which thev took from a life boat yesterday-Two yesterday-Two bodies, Captain Johnson identi fied by means of papers as those ot William Smith, steward, and Jonn Carlesou, deck hand. The third body is unidentified. |
