April 28 The persons arrested ar-rested on April " by the city marshal and who entered a plea of not guilty at the lime they were arraigned, appeared ap-peared before the justice of the peace on Friday, April 24, and pleaded guilty The defendants, Marlon Lee, Bob C reager. Meryl Creager and Loyd I Wheador were discharged from the custody of the court under a suspended suspend-ed sentence. F. A. Lyman and Louise Lyman, proprietors of the Morgan Drug Store also pleaded guilty and a fine imposed im-posed of $150 At a meeting of the stockholders of the Morgan Drug company, held April 18. it was resolved that lntoxi eating liquor should not be handled in the future, either on prescription or otherwise, by the proprietors and that any reputable citizen be permitted permit-ted to search the premises, if he surmised sur-mised that liquor was being handled or disposed of illegally. |
