Show LECTURES PLEASE 10 AUDIENCES W. T. Sherman Culp, the well known locturer, gave two addresses in the Congregational church yesterday un der the auspices of W. R C. of the Dix-Logan post The first talk was given In the afternoon and his sub ject was "The Happy Child." In th-? evening he spoke upon "Those Who Win of the Psychology of Efficiency.' During the latter lecture, he said: "We fill a place In life Just as large as we fit ourselves to fill, and the measure of our efficiency Is gauged by our fitness. Twentieth century efficiency consist? of four things: "Development of body, development of morals, development of mind and development of soul. "Bodily development is derived from three sources: nutrition, exercise exer-cise and sleep. From nutrition wo develop physical and moral resistance resist-ance and disposition. The problem of the criminal is largely one of feeding, feed-ing, for when we give the child sufficient suffi-cient food, a clean place to sleep and a proper place to play, he will grow normally. The juvenile delinquent today is usually either a case of retarded re-tarded development or misapplied energy. en-ergy.
