Show PAVING ON THE BENCH PROCEEDING AT 0000 RATE The south side of Twenty fifth street, betwen Washington and Har rlson avenues, which has been concreted con-creted for asphalt paving, has been thrown open for traffic by the J. P. O'Neill ConstrucUon company, pending pend-ing the grading and concreting of the1 north side of the atreeL Weather conditions have retarded progress in grading but Manager O'Neill states that he Is of the opinion opin-ion that the work will be completed in a week or ten days Then will begin the placing of the concrete ba6? which will require a few weeks' time, after which, binder and topping will be placed. The O'Neill company has a force of men making preparations for the In stallatlon of the now asphalt plant, expecting It to be ready for use by the time the concrete base on the north side of Twenty-fifth street has been laid. Most of the machinery for the plant is at hand and the balance will be here In the course of a few days. oo |
