afo STRIKE W tonopah property has 16 feet of ore that will run fully tonopah To aug 12 the tonopah mining company has made a strike on the foot level that eclipses anything yet discovered in the camp and that opens for tonopah in general and the company in particular an era of production such as has never before been enjoyed by the camp this Is the persistent report from authoritative sources although the local officials of the company will not admit that any find has been made the street has been alive with rumors of the strike in the mine which is said to be one of the greatest discoveries co in the history of the camp the rumor comes from a dozen different and widely separated sources and their persistence in satto of the declaration of superintendent blackburn that on strikes have been made in the property make it look as though the company has actually opened up a new body of high grade according to the most authentic of these rumors the discovery was mado on toot level of the valley view it this is true it Is something entirely new as the high grade has been found heretofore on the foot level and above
