OCR Text LARGEST GATHERING IN HISTORY OF ORDER EXPECTED most elaborate program Is contemplated with many striking and entertaining features the committee appointed last wednesday evening by the fraternal order of eagles to select the time and place for their contemplated big outing have decided upon august 22 as the date and glenwood park as the place I 1 the committee on program consisting of J C gasberg james baumeister and james willet are busy formulating a program which they say will eclipse anything attempted by the local order heretofore and which will soon be officially announced noun ced c some of the main features of the outing will be contests the proceeds accruing from the same to go to tho widows and orphans of deceased members of the brotherhood of eagles A public marriage quite a feature Is scheduled to take place on the platform in the saucer track the contracting tr parties will receive an entire bedroom set all those who desire the bedroom set and it Is expected there will be four or five couples should communicate with manager grant during the day sports of various kinds will be pulled off and there will be bicycle races in the evening the committee intends that the days outing shall be one that will be long by the fraternal order of eagles and their visiting friends
