GOOD NEWS WAS telephoned FROM THIS OFFICE three bag boilers are receiving tho attention of the boilermakers at last the strike Is ended the obnoxious foreman at los angeles has resigned andi joy and peace reign in the camp of the workmen at the local shops the men resumed work yesterday as if nothing haj occurred and now the hum of the machinery and blows of tho hammer may be heard aa of yore both parties concerned can stop down with grace the railroad company did not accede to the demands of the men the cause of the resigned and the boilermakers boller makers finding the cause of the strike out of the way could do nothing but return to work so both are happy from now ion tor a few weeks at least the men will be rushed to catch up again as the work grew in amount while they were away already three big boilers are undergoing a tn orough repairing the first word of tho ending of tho strike was telephoned to the shops tuesday by the standard and the good news was received with thanks falness ful ness
