At a meeting of the Inter-Mountain Federation of the Caledonlon clubs, hold In Salt Lake City recently the executive board elected offlcors and committees which will hold office until un-til November, when the first roRular election of the federation will be held. The officers chosen by the board are. M. B. Thompson of Salt Lake, president. pres-ident. James DrysdaJe of Osflen, vice pres. Ident. William N. Puidie of Ogden, treasurer. treas-urer. Thomas Sprunt of Salt Lake City, secretary. The commltteemon arc: James A. Smith, Salt Lake City; William N. Purdis of Ogden, Gcorgo X. Bryson of Salt Lake City, John E. Henderson of Ogden, Joseph M. Irvine of Salt Lake City, John B. Cummock of Salt Lake City, Georgo M. Bain of Ogden. The Federation adopted a funeral benefit whereby all members will pay 23 cents Into the state funds. After the death of a member tbey pay an assessment of the same amount toward to-ward the next death benefit- It Is the desire of the Federation to have all Scotchmen and their descendant? of Scotch birth join the Federation. ThoBe outflide of cities can become members of tho Federation without Joining the local clubs and they will receive the same funeral benefits an local members. oo |
