Graff of the Paloma Mining company, says the Herald-Republican, writes from Beaver Bea-ver county that probably in a week the new station on the GOO level will bo finished and then work will be resumed on the ore body making out into the monzonite. This was cut a short time ago by a drift from the 600 and five feet of ore was reported report-ed in the face. The main shaft will be carried to the 700. Mr. Graff says that a new vein of ore is being opened open-ed up 300 feet out from the collar of the shaft. Samples from it gave returns of $31 a ton. They carried 19.5 per cent lead and 4.5 ounces silves. This ore is a carbonate. |
