Nelson, of Salt Lake. Attorney Murdock of Beaver, introduced in-troduced the chief speaker of the evening, after an introductory address, ad-dress, hailing Mr. Bamberger as "the next governor of Utah." Mr. Bamberger is an optimistic, humorous humor-ous soul and if self-confidence could pull him through to victory, he would certainly liiid the job with plenty of margin to spare. The candidate's can-didate's address touched lightly on several questions of national political politi-cal importance, being in considerable consider-able measure an arraignment of Mr. Hughes for fault-finding with and criticism of the Democratic administration. admin-istration. Mr. Bamberger's address apparently appar-ently pleased his Democratic au dience, judging from the frequent applause which interrupted the speaker. Mr. O. C. Nelson also made a brief talk1 along general poltieal lines. |
